For 17 years the hotelier has been himself an enthusiastic biker. Werner knows the dense network of forest roads and single trails in the mountain bike region which surrounds his hotel like few others. For 15 years he has offered in his hotel special packages and services for mountain bike freaks. Just as long he guides the tours himself. And if he once doesn’t have time, the two professional bike guides Hans Vollmann and Raimund Rigo fill in for him. The two are not only friendly but also conscientious and reliable.

Who doesn’t want to bring along his mountain bike can rent one for free in the hotel. Fullys of Giant however cost 20€ per day. You can rent also GPS devices of Garmin. In the hotel you can also download routes on your own navigation device.

Mountain bike transport is guaranteed only in case of need. If you apply ahead of time you can go up to St. Vigil or the Kronplatz with the corresponding ascending systems. The hotel staff will inform your about bus transfers and train connections.
