MY EXCELSIOR HOLIDAY INSURANCE

Occasionally, something can happen before the start of a trip. Our travel cancellation insurance is tailored to ensure you suffer no financial hardship due to cancellation of a booking.

INFORMATION ABOUT THE TRAVEL INSURANCE
If you have to cancel your holiday unexpectedly, EU legislation for hotel and trip cancellation applies. If you fail to cancel a reservation or in case of curtailment of your holiday (late arrival or early departure) within 4 weeks before arrival, you are liable for the payment of part of the amount due in accordance to EU rules. In order not to be charged with cancellation fees, we recommend taking out a travel insurance.

The insurance includes:

  • Serious accident and unexpected severe sickness or illness of the Insured
  • Death those who are insured, of a near relative (husband, wife, partner, parents, parents-in-low, child, sister, brother, grandparents or grandchild) or of a person specifically indicated at the taking out of the contract
  • Significant aggravation to pre-existing illness of the insured people
  • Pregnancy of the insured guests
  • Burglary or serious damage to the property of the insured guests at his/her place of residence which requires his/her presence

Insured persons are those for whom the room has been booked.
Important: Damages to the property have to be certified (i.e. by the authority, police, a registered medical practitioner, etc.)

The payment of the travel insurance must take place within 5 days after the booking. At the receipt of the transfer we will notify you the taking out of the travel insurance. We remain at your complete disposal for any question and wish you all the best for your holidays!
